During a few months in 2017, four people managed to turn the old store, Vinje Gradsmat, into a brewing facility and pub. These four people spent their own spare time to develop several different kinds of beer and establish a solid customer base within less than a year.

From the start of 2018, the business has been run by Anders and Sonja Sandvik from Vinje. The brewing is largely manual labor and handcraft, which gives our beer the characteristic and charming variation which is typical for small breweries.

In large, our brewery is a production building, but once a month we try to host an event such as a concert, soccer night or quiz night for locals and tourists. This has been very successful. A place for people to gather and be social has clearly been needed.
